CafePress = Fun
A few months ago, I looked into having prints of my artwork made, in an effort to turn a profit on work that has just been sitting around, taking up space on my hard drive. After a little research, I came upon Cafepress, an online printing house that makes it very easy to upload your work and have it printed on t-shirts, cards, posters, and other things. I have since sold a grand total of ONE t-shirt, and been very sad about that, but I am finding that creating the products themselves is very fun and fulfilling. I am able to purchase my own products, and have made excellent gifts out of many of them. The quality of printing for cards, prints, and posters is excellent, and the pricing is reasonable. So check out Cafepress if you have dreams and aspirations of seeing your designs walking down the street, or hanging in someone's living room...or if you just want have some fun. |
